Hi, I’m Cayla Strong, MS, LPC. For as long as I can remember, I have been the trusted listener and source of support for friends and family. That natural desire to help others, combined with my own personal experiences navigating mental health challenges, inspired me to pursue a career in counseling. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s transitions, overcome daily struggles, and develop the tools needed to build a more peaceful, balanced, and resilient life.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered while also providing the guidance and challenge necessary for meaningful growth and lasting change. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, while integrating person-centered and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients throughout Georgia, I have experience working in private practice, group practice, and substance use treatment settings. My work has included counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups ranging in age from young children to adults. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tennessee State University and my Master of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. I believe that healing and growth are possible for everyone, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward greater confidence, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.
